My personal opinion:
My husband and I has assisted my friend with putting this walk-in chicken coop run up to attach to her steel frame coop and it took a couple of hours for 3 people, but it was easy to assemble, so prepare yourself!
When finished it looked beautiful and the chickens felt comfortable right away. The walk-in door was large enough for me to go through easily and I could open it with one hand that helps when you have your hands full with treats and other stuff.
Our friend was so kind and made us a fantastic lunch afterwards and we watched the chickens having fun in the run. Plus I love the door design! Also have some extra strong zip ties handy for long term support!
However, after reading some reviews, I noticed that the bottom is not 100% predator safe, so I would recommend to get some great spikes to put all around I found some yesterday that would work perfect!
I love the fact that it has a cover on top for weather protection, rain and sun! This way the chickens have a choice where they wish to be! Because some of my chickens don't mind the rain at all and actually enjoy it so it seems. :)

My personal opinion
The first thing I noticed is the humungous size of the walk-in chicken coop run, boy do I love this size of this one and second I notice right away that it is five feet longer from the first one but cost only approximately $50 more for so much more space! You can't beat that with a hammer!
I haven't put that one up personally, but I can assume that it will take twice the time for it is huge! Love this one. I adore when my flock can run around freely, chicken need space to roam, I can't stand being cooped up myself so I can feel for chickens, the poor things.
If I want to invest about $400 dollars into a run, and you can't buy the materials that cheap yourself anymore, it is a much better deal to get it pre-fab and be done with it!
Furthermore, I love it that it is flat on top, if you have to go on top for what ever reason it will be much easier to attach things, don't you think?
Have a run build party, grill some hamburgers and hot dogs and have a ball putting that thing up with your family and friends, just remember: WORK FIRST THAT THE FOOD!!

My personal opinion
This is the same model as number two of my review, so all is the same just for a much smaller flock maximum 15 chickens. I would only recommend this one if you never intend on increasing your number of chickens and believe me, that is quasi and impossibility! Believe me. The door design is so easy to use with one hand.
So if you are space and money concerned and you are sure you only want a handful of chickens this is the one I would recommend.

I think the first answer should be a question. Why would you want artificial turf in a walk in chicken coop? They can’t eat it, solids (such as bird droppings contained in the quantities usually found in a bird coops) won’t drain so it will need to be cleaned to prevent clogging and excessive heat is produced because it’s rubber and acerbates the outside temperature (I’ve personally seen a turf field at 157.5).
If you want to take a photo of your coop that has perfect grass, yes, install it and then rip it out as soon as the photos are taken. Otherwise you putting the chickens in danger.

A predator-resistant run will resemble a large cage, with small-guage wire or plastic mesh covering the top of a wire-fence enclosure. Even so, wire won't keep out small predators like weasels, minks, and snakes.
That is why most people keep their flock in a closed barn or shed at night.
- Our predator-resistant run has a 6-foot high wire fence and a tightly closing gate. Inside the run we have a shed, and we herd our birds into it each evening.

When building a chicken coop is it necessary to provide water and feeders inside the coop as well as in the run? Or just in one of those places? My plan is to let them out during the day and put them in the hen house coop at night?
As long as the chickens are let out every day, you don’t need to keep food or water in the coop.
I have food in the coop because I have a feeder that holds 400lbs of feed at one time. I keep it in the coop because it stays dry there. I do have some rodent problems that I deal with by baiting in an area of the coop where the hens cannot reach.
I do not like keeping water in the coop, and during the summer I do not. However, I do keep water in the coop in the winter. My coop is fully wired for electricity, and during the winter I hang a nipple bucket with a bucket heater in the coop so that the hens have access to free-flowing water.
Also, there are days when the hens will not leave the coop by choice and there are some days when my pop door gets frozen shut, so water in the coop is necessary.
My situation is a bit different than many others, however. Instead of a covered run, I have a 75′ x 125′ pasture, for example. If I had a covered run and a good way to keep fresh water flowing in winter, I would not have water in my coop. It makes a heck of a mess.
