Chicken Coops have to be large enough to house at least a dozen chickens even if you have only six. Because the air they are breathing needs a certain quality, but if the coop is too small the dust cannot escape or settle as easily. Chickens are known to have a very weak respiratory system and need really great air in their coop or they will get sick. Also, if you have only six you will certainly have more the next year its just plain chicken math, ask anybody. :)
